Our client, an architectural, interior and furniture design studio based in Lagos island is recruiting to fill the post of Associate Architect.
As an Associate in an architecture firm, you play a pivotal role in the design and execution of projects. You are a seasoned architect with a blend of creative vision, technical expertise, and managerial skills. Associates are responsible for overseeing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that the design meets the client’s needs, adheres to budgetary constraints, and complies with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
· Leadership of complex architectural projects, particularly from the detailed design stage through construction.
· Client Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, presenting design proposals, and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
· Business Development: Participate in business development efforts, including proposal writing, presentations, and networking. This involves identifying new opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and contributing to the firm’s growth.
· Technical Expertise: A solid understanding of building codes, construction techniques, and materials is crucial. You will provide technical guidance to teams, reviewing drawings, specifications, and ensuring that designs meet safety and structural standards.
